PRATHAMIK VIDYALAY DIHAWA PANDEY KA PURA: A Glimpse into a Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the rural heart of BIKAPUR block in FAIZABAD district, Uttar Pradesh, PRATHAMIK VIDYALAY DIHAWA PANDEY KA PURA stands as a testament to the dedication to education in the region. Founded in 2012, this primary school serves students from Class 1 to Class 5, offering a co-educational environment for young minds.

The school’s structure reflects the realities of its rural location. While housed in a rented building, it boasts two well-maintained classrooms, equipped to facilitate learning. Despite the lack of electricity, the school’s dedication to providing a comfortable learning space is evident in its pucca boundary wall and access to clean drinking water through functional hand pumps.

The school’s focus on basic education is underscored by its reliance on Hindi as the primary language of instruction. It is also noteworthy that the school provides mid-day meals, a vital step in ensuring that students are adequately nourished while they learn.

The school’s commitment to inclusivity is reflected in its two functional toilets, one for boys and one for girls. The school, however, lacks a playground and library, highlighting the need for further investment to create a more holistic learning environment.

Despite the lack of advanced technology, the school’s dedicated teachers play a vital role in shaping young minds. With two female teachers guiding their students, PRATHAMIK VIDYALAY DIHAWA PANDEY KA PURA provides a space for children to learn and grow.

Though the school is situated in a rural area, its accessibility via all-weather roads ensures that students can reach the school throughout the year. The school’s academic session begins in April, aligning with the broader educational calendar.

PRATHAMIK VIDYALAY DIHAWA PANDEY KA PURA is an important institution in the BIKAPUR block, offering essential primary education to children in the region. The school, however, faces challenges in terms of infrastructure and resources. With a focus on improving these aspects, the school can further enhance its ability to nurture young minds and empower them with the knowledge necessary to build a brighter future.
