PARMATA NAND S.VIDYALYA: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

PARMATA NAND S.VIDYALYA, a private primary school located in the BHITERGAON block of KANPUR NAGAR district in Uttar Pradesh, serves the educational needs of the local community. Established in 2008, the school offers education from classes 1 to 5, catering to students of both genders in a co-educational environment.

The school’s infrastructure reflects its commitment to providing basic educational facilities. It boasts five classrooms in good condition, along with two additional rooms for non-teaching activities and a dedicated room for the headmaster/teacher.

The school’s physical layout features a pucca boundary wall, although it is in need of repair. While the school does not have access to electricity, it does provide drinking water through hand pumps. For sanitation, the school has one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet.

While PARMATA NAND S.VIDYALYA doesn’t have a playground or a library, it does prioritize digital learning with two functional computers. Unfortunately, the school lacks a computer-aided learning lab.

In terms of staffing, the school has four male teachers dedicated to providing quality education to its students. Hindi is the primary language of instruction. The school is easily accessible via an all-weather road and follows an academic session that begins in April.

The school’s commitment to its students is evident in its focus on basic infrastructure and resources. However, the lack of a library, playground, and computer-aided learning lab highlights the need for further development to enhance the learning experience for its pupils. The school’s dedication to providing a basic education for children in a rural setting is commendable, and it continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of its community.

The school’s absence of a pre-primary section and the lack of female teachers underscore the need for continued growth and development. With the support of the local community and government initiatives, PARMATA NAND S.VIDYALYA can further strengthen its educational offerings and contribute significantly to the well-being of its students.
