PANCHAYAT HS: A Rural School Providing Quality Education in Odisha

Nestled in a rural area of Odisha, PANCHAYAT HS is a private, co-educational upper primary and secondary school catering to students from Class 8 to Class 10. Established in 1992, the school has a strong focus on providing quality education to its students.

The school is housed in a private building with three classrooms and basic amenities. Students have access to a library stocked with 100 books and a playground for recreational activities. The school also provides drinking water through hand pumps and boasts a playground to encourage physical activity.

Instruction is delivered in Odia, the primary language of the region. The school employs a dedicated team of eight teachers, including five male and three female educators. The dedication of the teachers is evident in the school’s commitment to providing meals for its students, which are prepared and served on the premises.

While the school does not have computer-aided learning facilities or electricity, it prioritizes providing a conducive learning environment for its students. The school is surrounded by hedges, offering a peaceful and secure atmosphere for learning.

PANCHAYAT HS is affiliated with “Others” board for Class 10. This suggests that the school follows a curriculum that focuses on providing students with a strong foundation in core subjects, preparing them for higher education or vocational opportunities.

The school’s “No” response to pre-primary section availability and school shifting to a new place suggests a focus on strengthening the existing infrastructure and improving the learning environment for current students.

Despite the lack of some modern amenities, PANCHAYAT HS plays a crucial role in the community, offering a valuable educational opportunity to students in the rural area. Its commitment to providing quality education in Odia, coupled with a strong focus on student well-being, makes it a vital asset to the local community.
