P.S.GILAULA -II, located in the GILAULA block of SHRAWASTI district in Uttar Pradesh, is a government-run primary school that has been educating children since 1957. Situated in a rural area, the school caters to students from Grades 1 to 5, offering a co-educational environment with a focus on Hindi as the primary language of instruction.

The school building, constructed with pucca walls, features two classrooms in good condition and additional rooms for non-teaching activities and the headmaster. While the school has electricity, it is currently not functional. Water is provided through hand pumps, ensuring access for students and staff.

P.S.GILAULA -II prioritizes the well-being of its students by providing separate functional toilets for boys and girls. However, the school lacks a playground, which is a significant aspect of physical activity and social development for young learners.

The school is equipped with a library containing 100 books, providing a valuable resource for learning and exploration. Though the school has no computers, it does not utilize computer-aided learning methods. However, it offers a mid-day meal program, prepared and provided within the school premises.

The school’s dedication to providing quality education is evident in its commitment to a safe and hygienic environment, including functional toilets and access to clean drinking water. The lack of a playground and computer facilities presents opportunities for improvement and modernization.

Despite these challenges, P.S.GILAULA -II remains a vital resource for the community, providing fundamental education to young learners in a rural setting. The school’s staff, led by head teacher SUMAN DEVI, works diligently to ensure that students receive a strong foundation for their academic journey.

The school’s location in a rural area highlights the importance of government-run institutions in bridging the educational gap and providing access to learning opportunities for children in remote regions. As the need for modern technology and enhanced learning environments continues to grow, P.S.GILAULA -II stands as a testament to the ongoing efforts to provide quality education in underprivileged communities.
