P.S. CHAK GANI: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

P.S. CHAK GANI is a primary school located in the MOHAMMADABAD block of the GHAZIPUR district in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 2003, the school is managed by the Department of Education and serves students from Class 1 to Class 5.

The school is situated in a rural area and is accessible by road in all weather conditions. It is a co-educational institution, meaning both boys and girls attend classes. Although the school doesn’t have a pre-primary section, it offers a primary education in Hindi, making it an accessible option for students in the local community.

The school has a government-owned building, which houses 5 classrooms in good condition. These classrooms provide the necessary space for teaching and learning. Additionally, there are 2 rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.

While the school doesn’t have a boundary wall, it does have access to drinking water through hand pumps. This ensures that students have a clean and reliable source of water throughout the day.

The school is equipped with basic facilities like a boys’ toilet and a girls’ toilet, both of which are functional. However, the lack of a playground might limit opportunities for physical activity and recreational play.

P.S. CHAK GANI does not have a library, nor does it have any computers for teaching or learning purposes. Consequently, computer-aided learning is not implemented at the school. This absence of technology might pose a challenge in keeping up with modern educational trends.

Despite these limitations, the school provides midday meals to its students, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

The school currently employs two male teachers and one head teacher, MD. TAUHEED ANSARI. While the school doesn’t have any female teachers, its commitment to providing education in a rural setting is commendable.

Despite the absence of some modern amenities, P.S. CHAK GANI continues to play a vital role in providing basic education to students in the rural community. Its commitment to education and its focus on building a strong foundation for students are crucial for the development of the region.
