P S SHRIPAL PUR: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

P S SHRIPAL PUR, located in the HUJUR PUR block of BAHRAICH district in Uttar Pradesh, is a government-run primary school established in 1979. This rural school caters to students from Grades 1 to 5, offering a co-educational environment.

The school boasts three classrooms, all in good condition, and two additional rooms for non-teaching activities. A separate room is also available for the headmaster or teacher. While the school does not have a boundary wall, it does have access to hand pumps for drinking water, which are functional.

Despite the lack of a boundary wall, the school offers a safe and comfortable environment for its students. It has one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet. However, the school lacks a playground, library, or computers, and does not have a computer-aided learning lab.

While electricity is present in the school, it is not currently functional. This poses a challenge for teaching and learning, particularly in the absence of computers. However, the school does provide a mid-day meal for its students, which is prepared and served on the school premises.

The school’s curriculum is entirely taught in Hindi, the preferred medium of instruction.

The school is accessible by road, ensuring easy access for students and staff regardless of weather conditions. The academic session at P S SHRIPAL PUR commences in April.

Although the school lacks certain resources, it provides essential facilities for its students, including basic sanitation, drinking water, and a safe learning environment. The school’s management, under the Department of Education, aims to provide quality primary education to children in the rural area.

With further support and development, P S SHRIPAL PUR has the potential to offer a more comprehensive and enriching educational experience for its students.
