P S MANHGILAL PURWA: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Located in the VISHESHWAR GANJ block of BAHRAICH district in Uttar Pradesh, P S MANHGILAL PURWA is a government-run primary school established in 2009. Serving the rural community, the school provides education for students from Class 1 to Class 5, offering a co-educational learning environment.

Focusing on Primary Education

The school’s primary focus is on providing quality primary education, with Hindi as the medium of instruction. It caters to the educational needs of the local community, offering a nurturing learning space for young students. The school boasts four well-maintained classrooms, ensuring adequate space for learning.

Infrastructure and Amenities

The school has a government-constructed building with a pucca but broken boundary wall. While it lacks an electrical connection, the school has hand pumps providing access to drinking water. Toilets are available for both boys and girls, ensuring basic hygiene and sanitation facilities for students.

Teacher-Student Ratio and Curriculum

The school is staffed by two teachers - one male and one female - dedicated to guiding their students. While the school does not have a pre-primary section or offer any higher secondary education, it provides mid-day meals prepared within the school premises, contributing to the well-being of the students.

The Need for Improvement

Despite its efforts, the school faces a few challenges. It lacks a playground for recreational activities and a library, which could enhance learning opportunities and encourage a love for reading. The absence of computers and a computer-aided learning lab limits access to modern teaching techniques and digital resources.

Looking Ahead

The school’s dedication to providing quality education to the rural community is evident. However, there is room for improvement. Addressing the lack of essential resources, including a playground, library, and computer facilities, could significantly enhance the learning experience and equip students with the skills they need to thrive in the modern world. By investing in these areas, the school can further its mission of providing a holistic and enriching education for all students.
