NPS KHAMHARIA: A Rural Primary School in Madhya Pradesh

NPS KHAMHARIA, located in the SAMNAPUR block of DINDORI district in Madhya Pradesh, is a government-run primary school catering to students from Class 1 to 5. Established in 1999, the school is managed by the Tribal/Social Welfare Department and serves a rural community.

The school offers a co-educational environment and provides instruction in Hindi. While it doesn’t have a pre-primary section, it does provide a mid-day meal prepared on-site.

NPS KHAMHARIA boasts several facilities to support its students’ learning. The school building houses three classrooms, all in good condition, along with two rooms for non-teaching activities. A separate room is dedicated to the headmaster/teacher. Although it doesn’t have a boundary wall or electricity, the school provides access to drinking water through a well.

The school’s commitment to student well-being is evident in its amenities: a functional playground, a library stocked with 80 books, and separate functional toilets for boys and girls.

Despite its rural setting, NPS KHAMHARIA prioritizes accessibility for all. Ramps are available to ensure disabled children can access classrooms. However, the school currently lacks computer facilities and a computer-aided learning lab.

NPS KHAMHARIA is a testament to the dedication of the Tribal/Social Welfare Department in providing quality primary education in rural areas. The school’s commitment to providing a supportive learning environment is commendable, and its focus on accessibility reflects its dedication to inclusivity.

While the lack of computer facilities and a computer-aided learning lab presents a challenge, the school’s management is likely working towards integrating these resources in the future. This will further enhance the students’ learning experience and equip them with the skills needed to navigate the digital age.

The school’s presence in the SAMNAPUR block contributes significantly to the local community by providing access to quality education for children in the rural area. NPS KHAMHARIA stands as a shining example of educational dedication, fulfilling the vital role of shaping young minds and fostering a brighter future for its students.
