MPPS, SETTIBALIJAPETA: A Rural Primary School in Andhra Pradesh

MPPS, SETTIBALIJAPETA is a primary school located in the village of Settibalijapeta, Andhra Pradesh. The school, identified by the code 28153900702, is a co-educational institution serving students from Class 1 to Class 5.

Established in 1991, the school operates in a rural setting. While the school offers instruction in Telugu, it does not have access to computer-aided learning facilities or electricity. The lack of electricity also extends to the provision of drinking water, as the school does not have any source of potable water.

The school is managed by the local body and employs two teachers, both male. These teachers are responsible for educating the students using the Telugu language as the medium of instruction. Interestingly, while the school offers a primary education, there is no pre-primary section available.

For students seeking higher education after completing Class 5, the school follows the “Others” board for Class 10th and Class 10+2. This signifies that the school’s curriculum aligns with an alternative board of education beyond the conventional state or national boards.

Despite its rural location and limited resources, MPPS, SETTIBALIJAPETA provides a vital educational foundation for the children in its community. The school’s commitment to providing quality primary education using Telugu as the medium of instruction is commendable, particularly in a region with a limited access to modern amenities.

The lack of electricity and drinking water facilities highlight the need for greater investment in infrastructure development for rural schools like MPPS, SETTIBALIJAPETA. The school’s reliance on the “Others” board for higher secondary education also emphasizes the importance of exploring alternative educational pathways and supporting these schools with the necessary resources.

Despite these challenges, MPPS, SETTIBALIJAPETA serves as a vital pillar of education in the rural community. The school’s commitment to providing a basic education to its students underscores the crucial role of local schools in fostering educational opportunities and empowering future generations.
