Nestled in the rural landscape of Andhra Pradesh, MPPS Thummisi stands as a beacon of education for young minds. Situated in the district of Anantapur, the school falls under the jurisdiction of the Pendlimarri Mandal, serving the local community with its primary education program.

This government-run institution, established in 1998, caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5, offering a co-educational environment where both boys and girls can thrive. With a focus on Telugu as the primary language of instruction, the school ensures that students receive a strong foundation in their mother tongue.

MPPS Thummisi is managed by the local body, reflecting the strong community ties and involvement in the school’s operation. The school currently employs two teachers, one male and one female, dedicated to providing quality education to the young learners.

While the school does not offer pre-primary classes or computer-aided learning facilities, it is a testament to the commitment to education in rural areas. The lack of electricity and drinking water facilities underscores the need for infrastructure development and resource allocation to ensure a more conducive learning environment.

Furthermore, the school’s academic program emphasizes the importance of basic education, focusing on foundational skills and knowledge development for students in their formative years. While the absence of computer-aided learning may pose a challenge, the dedication of the teaching staff and the community’s support serve as strong pillars for educational success.

Though the school may face challenges in terms of infrastructure and resources, its commitment to providing quality primary education to the local community is unwavering. The school’s focus on Telugu as the language of instruction, coupled with its co-educational environment, ensures a well-rounded educational experience for its students.
