MPPS MUNDADUGU (RANGAPURAM): A Rural Primary School in Andhra Pradesh

MPPS MUNDADUGU (RANGAPURAM) is a primary school located in the rural area of REDDIGUDEM block in KRISHNA district of ANDHRA PRADESH. Established in 2002, this co-educational school is managed by the Local body. It caters to students from Grades 1 to 5, with Telugu as the medium of instruction.

The school’s academic session commences in April and operates on an all-weather road. While it lacks a dedicated school building, it boasts two rooms for non-teaching activities, along with a separate room for the Headmaster/Teacher.

Unfortunately, the school is currently without an electric connection, a library, or a playground. The lack of basic amenities like electricity and a library hinders the learning environment for the students.

Further highlighting the challenges faced by the school, it has no computer-aided learning facility, no computers, and no books in its library. Additionally, the school lacks a playground, a critical space for children’s physical and social development.

While drinking water is essential, the school unfortunately has no access to a functional source of drinking water, which raises concerns about the students’ well-being. Moreover, the absence of a playground and library makes it difficult for the school to provide a holistic and enriching learning experience for the students.

The school also has no teachers, a significant factor hindering quality education delivery.

Despite these challenges, MPPS MUNDADUGU (RANGAPURAM) provides an essential educational service to the local community. With improved infrastructure and resources, the school has the potential to become a thriving center of learning and development for its students.

The absence of basic amenities like electricity, drinking water, computers, and a library highlights the need for targeted investments and support from local authorities and educational organizations. These investments can significantly improve the learning environment for the students at MPPS MUNDADUGU (RANGAPURAM), paving the way for a brighter future for the children in this rural community.
