MPPS LANKAMALAPALLI: A Rural Primary School in Andhra Pradesh

MPPS LANKAMALAPALLI is a primary school located in the village of Lankamalapalli in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Established in 1930, the school offers education from Class 1 to Class 5, with a total of 2 teachers, all of whom are female.

The school is managed by the local body and operates in a rural setting. Its focus is on providing primary education, with instruction medium being Telugu. The school does not have any pre-primary sections, and students are admitted directly into Class 1.

While the school’s academic focus is on primary education, it lacks certain amenities. It does not have computer-aided learning facilities or electricity. Additionally, the school does not have access to drinking water. This highlights the need for infrastructure improvements to enhance the learning environment for the students.

Key Features of MPPS LANKAMALAPALLI:

• Academic Level: Primary only (Class 1 to Class 5)
• Instruction Medium: Telugu
• School Type: Co-educational
• Management: Local body
• School Area: Rural
• Total Teachers: 2 (all female)

Areas for Improvement:

• Computer-aided learning: The school lacks access to computer technology, limiting students’ exposure to modern learning tools.
• Electricity: The absence of electricity restricts the school’s operational hours and hinders the use of electronic devices and appliances.
• Drinking water: The lack of access to drinking water poses a significant health concern for the students and staff.

Despite these challenges, MPPS LANKAMALAPALLI continues to provide primary education to the students in its community. It is a testament to the dedication of the teachers and the commitment of the local body to provide basic educational opportunities in the rural areas of Andhra Pradesh.

Improving Educational Infrastructure:

The need for essential infrastructure improvements is evident. Providing access to computer-aided learning, electricity, and drinking water would significantly enhance the learning environment for the students. The local body and the government should consider prioritizing these improvements to ensure that MPPS LANKAMALAPALLI can better serve its students and contribute to the overall educational development of the region.
