MPPS KOTHURU NC: A Rural Primary School in Andhra Pradesh

MPPS KOTHURU NC, a primary school located in the rural area of MANDASA block in SRIKAKULAM district of ANDHRA PRADESH, stands as a testament to the dedication towards education in the region. Established in 1975 and managed by the local body, the school offers education to students from Class 1 to 5.

This co-educational institution provides a nurturing environment for learning with a focus on Telugu as the medium of instruction. The school’s academic session commences in April, marking the beginning of a new learning journey for its students.

While the school doesn’t offer a pre-primary section, it caters to the needs of primary school students by providing a conducive learning environment.

The school boasts a dedicated staff of two male teachers who are committed to guiding and supporting the students in their educational endeavors. However, the school faces challenges in terms of infrastructure and resources.

Despite the absence of a proper school building, the school has two rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities, including a separate room for the head teacher. The school’s lack of electricity and a functional library hinders its ability to provide comprehensive learning experiences for its students.

The school also struggles with basic amenities such as toilets and a playground. While the school has no boys’ or girls’ toilets, the lack of a drinking water facility further compounds the challenges faced by the students.

The absence of computers and a computer-aided learning lab limits the school’s ability to embrace technology in the classroom. This lack of resources significantly affects the students’ access to modern teaching methods and digital learning opportunities.

The school’s location in a rural area poses additional challenges. The lack of a proper school building, along with the limited access to amenities and technology, hinders the school’s ability to provide a high-quality education to its students.

MPPS KOTHURU NC plays a vital role in providing education to children in the rural community. Despite its challenges, the school’s dedicated staff continues to strive towards providing the best possible learning environment for its students. With the support of local authorities and community members, the school can overcome its obstacles and pave the way for a brighter future for its students.
