LATE G.L.R.B.KATIYAR PS DEVBRAHMPUR: A Primary School in Rural Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the rural heart of Uttar Pradesh, LATE G.L.R.B.KATIYAR PS DEVBRAHMPUR stands as a testament to education in the region. Established in the year 2000, this primary school serves the community of MALASA block in the KANPUR DEHAT district, operating under the private, unaided management model.

The school caters to students in grades 1 through 5, providing a co-educational environment for learning. The medium of instruction is Hindi, ensuring that students are comfortable in their native language. Situated on a rural plot, LATE G.L.R.B.KATIYAR PS DEVBRAHMPUR offers a familiar and comforting setting for its young learners.

While lacking a pre-primary section, the school boasts a well-maintained infrastructure. Its private building houses 4 classrooms, all in good condition, and 2 additional rooms for non-teaching activities. A dedicated room for the headmaster/teacher ensures a space for administrative and pedagogical support. The school’s pucca boundary wall provides a sense of security and enclosure, while the presence of hand pumps ensures access to clean drinking water for students.

The school further prioritizes hygiene and sanitation with 1 functional boys’ toilet and 1 functional girls’ toilet. However, the lack of electricity remains a challenge. Additionally, the absence of a playground limits opportunities for physical activity and outdoor learning.

The school’s commitment to education is evident in its dedicated staff. It boasts a team of 4 male teachers, all striving to impart knowledge and skills to their young charges.

Despite the absence of a library, the school does not offer computer-aided learning or mid-day meals. The lack of computers and a computer lab further highlights the need for digital literacy initiatives.

Overall, LATE G.L.R.B.KATIYAR PS DEVBRAHMPUR plays a vital role in providing primary education to the students of MALASA block. While challenges exist, the school’s dedicated staff and basic infrastructure serve as a foundation for academic progress.
