Koyagiri PS, located in Odisha, is a government-run primary school with a rich history dating back to 1962. Serving the rural community, this co-educational school offers instruction in Odia and caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5.

The school boasts a single building equipped with one classroom, a library, and a girls’ toilet. Although lacking computers and electricity, the school offers students a dedicated space for learning and encourages a love for reading with its collection of 42 books.

Koyagiri PS is a small school with a total of 3 dedicated male teachers, who are committed to providing quality education to their students. The school offers a nutritious meal prepared on-site, ensuring students have access to proper nourishment.

While lacking a playground, the school does offer a hand pump for clean drinking water. However, it is important to note that the school building is only partially walled. This emphasizes the need for further development and infrastructure improvements.

The school operates under the Department of Education and, despite its rural location, has maintained a strong foundation for learning, offering a “Primary only (1-5)” curriculum. This focus on primary education is crucial in laying the groundwork for students’ future academic success.

Despite being a small school, Koyagiri PS provides a valuable service to its community.
