KGBV MOLAKALACHERUVU: A Rural Residential School for Girls

Located in the heart of rural Andhra Pradesh, KGBV MOLAKALACHERUVU stands as a beacon of educational opportunity for young girls. Established in 2007, this residential school is dedicated to providing quality education to students from class 6 to class 10, catering specifically to the needs of female students.

KGBV MOLAKALACHERUVU is managed by the Tribal/Social Welfare Department, highlighting its commitment to supporting marginalized communities. The school is categorized as a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya (KGBV), emphasizing its focus on girls’ education and well-being.

The school’s curriculum is taught in Telugu, offering students a familiar and comfortable learning environment. The school operates under the State Board for class 10, ensuring a recognized and respected educational framework. The academic focus of the school is upper primary with secondary, covering classes 6 to 10.

While the school offers a comprehensive academic program, it lacks certain amenities that might be considered essential in modern educational settings. The school currently lacks access to electricity and computers for aided learning. The lack of a pre-primary section also signifies the school’s focus on students in the middle and upper primary grades. However, it is important to acknowledge the school’s commitment to providing residential facilities, offering a safe and supportive living environment for its students.

The school boasts a dedicated team of 9 female teachers who are committed to the success of their students. This strong emphasis on female educators creates a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, encouraging girls to excel in their academic pursuits.

Despite the challenges posed by limited resources, KGBV MOLAKALACHERUVU plays a significant role in empowering young girls from rural areas. The school’s dedication to residential education provides a safe and structured environment, enabling students to focus on their studies and personal growth. The school’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering a sense of community among its students makes it a valuable asset to the surrounding village and a symbol of hope for the future of these young girls.
