KASIPADA NPS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

KASIPADA NPS is a government-run primary school located in the village of KASIPADA, in the district of Puri, Odisha. Established in 2009, the school offers education to children from Class 1 to Class 5, adhering to the Odia medium of instruction.

The school boasts a library stocked with 10 books, providing students with access to reading materials. It also features separate toilets for boys and girls, ensuring basic hygiene and sanitation. While the school lacks electricity and a boundary wall, it does provide drinking water through hand pumps. Additionally, the school is equipped with ramps for disabled students, demonstrating its commitment to inclusivity.

KASIPADA NPS is a co-educational institution, fostering a learning environment for both boys and girls. The school is staffed with a dedicated team of two teachers: one male and one female. The teaching staff is responsible for nurturing the academic growth of the students, with the primary focus on delivering education through the Odia language.

The school operates in a rural setting, catering to the educational needs of the local community. While it does not offer meals or residential facilities, the school actively provides a space for children to learn and grow.

The school’s academic focus is on primary education, with no provision for pre-primary or higher secondary classes. The absence of computer-aided learning and a playground highlights the need for further development in these areas.

However, despite these limitations, KASIPADA NPS remains a vital resource for the local community. The dedicated teachers, the presence of essential amenities, and the focus on providing quality education within the Odia medium make it a valuable institution for rural children.

With continued support and investment, KASIPADA NPS can continue to empower its students and contribute to the overall development of the community. By addressing the need for additional infrastructure and resources, the school can create an even more conducive learning environment for the children in its care.
