Established in 1964, the school serves as a beacon of knowledge for the community, offering an upper primary curriculum for students in grades 6-8.

The school’s infrastructure, though modest, prioritizes essential facilities. Equipped with three classrooms, it also boasts separate toilet facilities for boys and girls, a library, and access to drinking water through hand pumps. Notably, ramps are provided for disabled students, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.

Stepping inside the classrooms, students are taught in Odia, the native language, fostering a culturally relevant learning environment. The teaching staff comprises five dedicated educators – four male teachers and one female teacher – ensuring a balanced and supportive learning experience for all students. The school’s management falls under the Department of Education, signifying its commitment to providing a standardized educational system.

The school’s academic focus is on providing upper primary education, catering to the needs of students in their formative years. The curriculum emphasizes core subjects, supported by the presence of a library containing 120 books, encouraging a love for reading and expanding knowledge beyond textbooks.

Despite the absence of computer-aided learning and electricity, the school prioritizes a hands-on learning experience. The lack of a playground, however, might pose a challenge to promoting physical activity and outdoor learning opportunities.
