JANTA JR.HG. SCH. TISHTI: A Rural Upper Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

JANTA JR.HG. SCH. TISHTI, located in the RASULABAD block of KANPUR DEHAT district in Uttar Pradesh, is a rural upper primary school serving students from grades 6 to 8. Established in 1965, this co-educational school is managed by the Pvt. Unaided organization. It is a testament to the dedication of providing quality education to the local community.

While the school does not offer a pre-primary section, it focuses on providing a strong foundation in upper primary education. Instruction is delivered in Hindi, and the school boasts a dedicated team of three male teachers. These teachers, along with two contract teachers, play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering a love of learning.

The school building, rented for its operation, consists of six classrooms, all in good condition. These classrooms are essential for providing an environment conducive to learning. The school also has two additional rooms for non-teaching activities and a dedicated space for the head teacher.

Despite the school’s commitment to education, it faces certain challenges. It lacks a boundary wall and an electrical connection, highlighting the need for improved infrastructure. The school’s drinking water source, however, is functional and reliable, with hand pumps providing clean water for students and staff.

The school’s playground provides a much-needed space for recreation and physical activity. Unfortunately, the school does not have a library or computers for learning, signifying the need for additional resources to enhance educational opportunities. The absence of a computer-aided learning lab also limits access to technology-based learning experiences.

Despite these limitations, JANTA JR.HG. SCH. TISHTI stands as a beacon of education in the community. Its dedication to providing quality instruction in Hindi and its commitment to nurturing young minds are commendable. The school’s focus on upper primary education ensures that students receive the necessary foundation for future academic success. With continued efforts and the support of the community, this school can overcome its challenges and provide an even brighter future for its students.
