J.S. KASAWOR: A Rural Upper Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the heart of Uttar Pradesh, J.S. KASAWOR is a government-run upper primary school located in the Kiratpur block of the Bijnor district. Established in 2005, this co-educational school caters to students from classes 6 to 8, offering education to the rural community.

J.S. KASAWOR boasts a dedicated team of three female teachers who provide instruction in Hindi, the medium of instruction for all subjects. The school provides a conducive learning environment, with three well-maintained classrooms and additional rooms for non-teaching activities.

The school’s commitment to holistic development is evident in its various facilities. A functional playground encourages physical activity and teamwork, while a well-stocked library with two books promotes reading habits and a love for learning.

The school prioritizes the health and well-being of its students, providing access to clean drinking water through hand pumps. Furthermore, separate functional toilets for boys and girls ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

J.S. KASAWOR, however, lacks certain amenities. Despite being located in a rural area, the school does not have electricity, limiting access to technology-based learning opportunities. The absence of a boundary wall also raises safety concerns, particularly for the students.

While the school does not offer computer-aided learning or a computer lab, it does provide a midday meal, prepared and served on school premises. This initiative ensures that students receive a nutritious meal and are better able to focus on their studies.
