J.L.NEHRU U.P.S.NAVBASTA: A Rural Upper Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the rural heart of Kaushambi district in Uttar Pradesh, J.L.NEHRU U.P.S.NAVBASTA stands as a beacon of education for children in the area. Established in 1965 and managed by the Tribal/Social Welfare Department, the school offers upper primary education for students in grades 6 to 8.

This co-educational institution, located in the Kaushambi block, boasts a private building with three well-maintained classrooms, dedicated to providing quality instruction. The school also features a separate room for the head teacher, ensuring a conducive environment for learning.

Learning in a Supportive Environment

The school’s commitment to inclusivity is evident in the availability of a playground, a functional library, and ramps for disabled children, enabling all students to access the facilities without any barriers. The school, however, lacks electricity and computer-aided learning facilities.

Teaching and Learning Resources

The school employs four male teachers to guide the students, focusing on instruction in the Hindi language. While the school does not offer a pre-primary section, it does possess a library with a diverse collection of books. Although there are no computers available, the school ensures access to drinking water through functional hand pumps.

A Focus on Hygiene and Safety

The school prioritizes hygiene and safety with functional boys’ and girls’ toilets, creating a clean and comfortable learning environment for all students. The lack of a boundary wall highlights a need for further development to ensure the safety and security of the school grounds.

Looking Ahead

J.L.NEHRU U.P.S.NAVBASTA plays a vital role in the community, providing quality education to children in a rural setting. The school’s dedication to student learning and its commitment to accessibility are commendable. However, the lack of electricity, computer-aided learning facilities, and a boundary wall present areas for improvement.

As the school continues to serve the community, its efforts to overcome these challenges will be crucial in providing an even better learning experience for its students.
