GOVT.PRY.SCHOOL,MENGKENGMIRI-III: A Rural Primary School in Arunachal Pradesh

Nestled in the rural landscape of Arunachal Pradesh, GOVT.PRY.SCHOOL,MENGKENGMIRI-III stands as a testament to the commitment to education in the state. Established in 2008, this primary school is managed by the Department of Education and caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5. The school, located in NAMSAI block of NAMSAI district, offers a co-educational learning environment, with English as the primary language of instruction.

Despite its rural setting, GOVT.PRY.SCHOOL,MENGKENGMIRI-III is accessible by all-weather roads, making it convenient for students to commute. The academic year commences in April, ensuring a structured learning environment for young minds.

The school’s infrastructure, though basic, provides a functional learning space. It houses two classrooms in good condition, ensuring ample space for students to engage in lessons. Additionally, the school has two rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience. There is a separate room reserved for the headmaster/teacher, facilitating effective administration.

While the school does not have a boundary wall or electricity, it is equipped with one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet. The school’s commitment to hygiene is further reflected in the provision of mid-day meals, prepared within the school premises.

Sadly, the school currently lacks a playground, library, or computers. This absence of essential facilities limits opportunities for physical activity, extracurricular learning, and access to digital resources. The lack of a computer-aided learning lab also hinders the school’s ability to embrace modern teaching methods.

The school’s focus on providing a basic education to young children is commendable. However, the absence of certain facilities necessitates further investment in its infrastructure to enhance the learning experience for its students. Providing a playground, a library, and access to computers could significantly enrich the educational journey of the children enrolled at GOVT.PRY.SCHOOL,MENGKENGMIRI-III.

This school represents a significant step towards ensuring educational accessibility for the rural communities of Arunachal Pradesh. With continued support and investment, this institution has the potential to nurture future generations and contribute to the overall development of the region.
