GOVT.PRY SCHOOL KAMAKHYAPUR: A Rural Primary School in Arunachal Pradesh

GOVT.PRY SCHOOL KAMAKHYAPUR, established in 2006, is a government-run primary school located in the rural area of DIYUN block, CHANGLANG district, Arunachal Pradesh. The school caters to students from Grades 1 to 5, offering a co-educational environment with English as the medium of instruction.

The school building itself is a testament to the government’s commitment to education in rural areas. It boasts 4 classrooms in good condition, ensuring ample space for learning. The school also has two rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities and a separate room for the head teacher. Although the school lacks electricity, it does have access to clean drinking water through a functional tap water system.

Furthermore, the school provides a safe and hygienic environment for its students with functional boys’ and girls’ toilets. However, the school lacks certain facilities that could enhance the learning experience. It does not have a playground for physical activities or a library for students to explore different genres of literature.

The school’s academic focus lies solely on primary education, with a curriculum designed to provide a solid foundation in basic subjects. The school is managed by the Department of Education and has one male teacher dedicated to educating the students.

One of the notable features of the school is its provision of a midday meal, prepared within the school premises. This ensures that students have access to a nutritious meal, which is crucial for their growth and development. While the school doesn’t offer pre-primary education, it plays a vital role in providing quality primary education to children in the rural community.

Despite the absence of certain amenities like a library and playground, GOVT.PRY SCHOOL KAMAKHYAPUR remains an integral part of the educational landscape in Arunachal Pradesh. The dedicated teachers and the focus on providing a conducive learning environment are commendable. As the school continues to serve the community, it plays a significant role in shaping the future of young minds in the rural region.
