GOVT MS RAMTERI NMS: A Rural Upper Primary School in Madhya Pradesh

Nestled in the rural heart of Madhya Pradesh, GOVT MS RAMTERI NMS stands as a beacon of education for children in the CHACHODA block of GUNA district. Established in the year 2000, this government-managed upper primary school caters to students from grades 6 to 8, offering them a co-educational environment conducive to learning.

The school building, though government-owned, boasts a modern infrastructure with 3 well-maintained classrooms. These classrooms serve as the primary hub for learning, while additional rooms are available for various non-teaching activities. The school, however, lacks a boundary wall, and electricity remains unavailable. Nevertheless, the school provides a playground for physical activity and a functional library with a collection of 110 books.

The school’s commitment to inclusive education is evident through the provision of ramps for students with disabilities. While it lacks computer facilities and a computer-aided learning lab, the school offers a vital resource: a functional hand pump, ensuring clean drinking water for students.

The school’s academic focus is on providing quality education in Hindi as the primary medium of instruction. With a dedicated staff of four teachers – two male and two female – the school strives to provide personalized attention to every student.

Despite its rural location, GOVT MS RAMTERI NMS stands as a pillar of the community, offering not just education but also a safe and supportive environment for students. The school provides a mid-day meal, prepared and served within the school premises, ensuring that every child receives a nutritious meal throughout their learning journey.

While the school is not a residential facility, it does offer students a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing atmosphere. The dedication of the staff and the school’s commitment to quality education contribute to its standing as a vital resource within the community.

The lack of computer facilities, computer-aided learning, and internet access presents a challenge for the school. However, the school’s commitment to providing a basic education to the children in the community makes it a valuable asset, highlighting the need for continued investment in educational resources for rural schools like GOVT MS RAMTERI NMS.
