Located in the Bidar district of Karnataka, GOVT HPS BIDRCHED is a government-run primary school with a rich history, having been established in 1958. This rural school serves students from Class 1 to Class 7, providing them with a basic education in Kannada.

The school building is a pucca structure, though it has experienced some damage over the years. Despite this, it provides seven classrooms for students to learn in. The school is equipped with basic amenities, including a library containing 1500 books, drinking water from a tap, and toilets for both boys and girls.

While the school does not offer pre-primary education or a playground, it stands out for its dedication to providing a quality education. The curriculum follows a “Primary with Upper Primary (1-8)” model, indicating that it covers both primary and upper primary levels.

Interestingly, GOVT HPS BIDRCHED is a co-educational institution, and the student body is further supported by a single female teacher. The school has a total of one teacher, who ensures that the students receive a holistic education.

The school’s management falls under the Department of Education, highlighting the government’s commitment to providing quality education to rural communities. The school also provides a “Meal” for students, which is prepared on the school premises, ensuring that students are well-nourished and ready to learn.

Despite not having computer-aided learning facilities, the school boasts access to electricity. The school is located in a rural area and has not been shifted to a new location. The absence of a head teacher’s name might suggest the school is currently operating with a temporary staff member.

Though GOVT HPS BIDRCHED does not offer pre-primary education or a playground, it plays a crucial role in providing basic education to the children in the Bidar district. Its focus on a strong academic foundation, combined with its commitment to providing meals and necessary amenities, makes it a vital resource for the community.
