GOVT H.S.S. SARIPURCHACHETA: A Rural Secondary School in Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the TANDIYAWA block of HARDOI district in Uttar Pradesh, GOVT H.S.S. SARIPURCHACHETA stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to providing education in rural areas. This secondary school, established in 2012, is managed by the Department of Education and caters to students from Class 9 to Class 10.

The school’s commitment to accessibility is evident in its all-weather road approach and the provision of hand pumps for drinking water. While the school doesn’t possess a boundary wall, it boasts a library with a collection of 508 books, offering students a resource for learning beyond the classroom.

Despite the lack of a dedicated computer-aided learning lab, GOVT H.S.S. SARIPURCHACHETA prioritizes a comfortable learning environment. The school has two functional boys’ toilets and two functional girls’ toilets, ensuring the basic sanitation needs of its students are met.

The school, though situated in a rural area, embraces a co-educational model, fostering an environment where boys and girls can learn together. Notably, the medium of instruction is Hindi, reflecting the local language and culture.

While the school lacks a playground for physical activity, it makes up for it by offering a mid-day meal program, ensuring that students have access to nutritious food. The meal is prepared within the school premises, highlighting the school’s dedication to providing a well-rounded learning experience.

The school, currently under the leadership of a single male teacher, utilizes a government building with a total of two rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities. This suggests that the school is actively working to maximize the available space for both educational and administrative purposes.
