GEETANJALI PS RAJA STREET: A Comprehensive Look at a Primary School in Andhra Pradesh

GEETANJALI PS RAJA STREET, located in the KAVALI block of NELLORE district in Andhra Pradesh, is a primary school offering education from Class 1 to Class 5. Established in 2007, this co-educational institution is managed by the Pvt. Unaided organization and serves students in an urban setting.

The school boasts a dedicated staff of 5 female teachers who deliver instruction in English, the sole medium of instruction. While the school does not have a pre-primary section, it provides a nurturing environment for young learners. The school operates on a regular schedule, with the academic session commencing in April.

While the school is equipped with 2 rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities, it does not currently have any dedicated classrooms for instruction. Despite this, the school prioritizes the well-being of its students and has a separate room for the headmaster or teacher.

In terms of infrastructure, the school currently lacks a dedicated building. Although the school does not have electricity, it is accessible via an all-weather road. However, the absence of a library, playground, or computers presents a challenge for enriching the learning experience.

Despite lacking a traditional library, the school prioritizes the provision of clean drinking water, albeit currently sourced from an external source. The school also lacks ramps for disabled children, presenting a barrier to inclusivity.

The school’s focus on providing quality education for its students is evident in the absence of computer-aided learning and mid-day meals. However, the school’s commitment to providing a safe and accessible environment is demonstrated through the presence of functional boys’ and girls’ toilets.

Overall, GEETANJALI PS RAJA STREET is a primary school in Andhra Pradesh striving to provide quality education to its students within the limitations of its resources. Its commitment to creating a supportive learning environment is evident in the dedication of its teachers and the focus on basic amenities like clean drinking water. As the school continues to evolve, investing in infrastructure and resources like a library, computers, and a playground will further enhance its ability to offer a well-rounded education to its students.
