The school building, constructed in 1990, boasts a single classroom equipped with basic amenities for a comfortable learning environment. While there are no computers or electricity currently, students benefit from a library stocked with 402 books and a readily available supply of drinking water through hand pumps. The school also prioritizes accessibility, featuring ramps for students with disabilities.

The academic staff consists of a single male teacher who is responsible for guiding and educating the young minds enrolled in the school. Despite being a primary school, GAUDAKERA PS also offers a midday meal program for students, ensuring their nutritional needs are met alongside their educational pursuits.

One of the defining features of GAUDAKERA PS is its dedication to inclusivity, operating as a co-educational school that welcomes students of all genders. The school’s commitment to providing a safe and welcoming learning environment is further underscored by the presence of separate boys’ and girls’ toilets.

While the school lacks a playground, the presence of a library emphasizes the importance of promoting reading and learning outside the classroom. Despite not offering pre-primary education or having a residential facility, the school’s dedication to basic education ensures that the local community has access to quality primary education.

The school’s location in a rural area highlights the crucial role it plays in providing educational opportunities for children in underserved communities. The lack of modern facilities like computers and electricity underscores the need for further development and investment in the school’s infrastructure.

Despite these challenges, GAUDAKERA PS stands as a testament to the commitment to basic education in rural Odisha. The school’s dedication to providing a quality learning environment for its students, coupled with its emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility, makes it a valuable asset to the community it serves.
