GANGIRIAGUDA PROJ PS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

GANGIRIAGUDA PROJ PS is a government-run primary school located in the state of Odisha, India. Situated in a rural area with a pincode of 764056, the school serves students from Class 1 to Class 5, offering instruction in the Odia language.

The school building is equipped with two classrooms and basic amenities like boys’ and girls’ toilets, hand pumps for drinking water, and a meal program where food is provided and prepared on school premises. However, the school lacks some important facilities, including computer-aided learning, electricity, a boundary wall, a library, and a playground.

GANGIRIAGUDA PROJ PS is managed by the Department of Education and employs one male teacher. Despite being a co-educational institution, the school does not have a pre-primary section, and students are not required to reside at the school.

While the school does not offer education beyond the primary level, it plays a crucial role in providing basic education to children in the surrounding rural community. The presence of only one teacher highlights the need for additional resources and personnel to ensure quality education for all students.

The lack of a library and computer-aided learning facilities emphasizes the need for further development and improvement in the school’s infrastructure. Providing access to books and technology can significantly enhance the learning experience for students, enabling them to explore new knowledge and skills.

Despite these challenges, GANGIRIAGUDA PROJ PS serves as a vital pillar of education in its community, offering basic education to children in a rural setting. Efforts to improve the school’s infrastructure and resources are essential to create a more conducive learning environment and equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the future.
