Nestled in the rural heartland of Odisha, GAMBHARIGUDA NPS is a primary school serving the community with a strong focus on education. The school is currently under construction, but despite its unfinished state, it already boasts one classroom, one boys’ toilet, and one girls’ toilet.

The school offers instruction in Odia, with two dedicated male teachers guiding its students. It caters to children from Class 1 to Class 5, providing a co-educational environment. While a pre-primary section is not available, the school offers a crucial service: meals are provided for students, though they are prepared off-site.

Established in 2013, GAMBHARIGUDA NPS stands as a testament to the commitment of the Department of Education to improving educational access in rural areas. The school’s rural location reflects its dedication to serving the local community and fostering a sense of belonging among its students.

Despite its young age, GAMBHARIGUDA NPS prioritizes the well-being of its students. While it lacks amenities like a computer lab, electricity, or a boundary wall, the school prioritizes its students’ basic needs, providing drinking water, albeit not on the school premises. The school also prioritizes accessibility, offering ramps for disabled students.

The school’s administration is led by a dedicated head teacher, BASANTA KUMAR BHOLA, who guides a total of two teachers in their mission to provide quality education to their students. The school’s commitment to its students is evident in its lack of a residential program, ensuring that students receive a safe and nurturing environment within their local community.

GAMBHARIGUDA NPS is a shining example of how rural schools in Odisha are striving to provide educational opportunities for children from diverse backgrounds. Despite its limited resources and ongoing construction, the school stands as a symbol of hope and progress in a community striving for a brighter future.

As the school continues to grow and develop, it will undoubtedly play a vital role in shaping the lives of its students and enriching the community it serves. GAMBHARIGUDA NPS embodies the resilience and determination of rural schools across Odisha, consistently seeking to empower young minds and build a stronger future for their communities.
