DADHIBAMAN TOL HS: A Rural Upper Primary and Secondary School in Odisha

DADHIBAMAN TOL HS, located in the village of DADHIBAMAN TOL (village ID 6207), is a government-run school situated in the rural area of Odisha. This school is known as an upper primary with secondary (6-10) institution, offering education from Class 6 to Class 10.

DADHIBAMAN TOL HS offers its instruction medium in Odia and has a total of 5 teachers, all male. While the school does not have a pre-primary section, it provides meals prepared in the school premises. The school, established in 1969, serves as a co-educational institution for students in the surrounding community.

Infrastructure and Resources

The school boasts 3 classrooms, a well-stocked library with 1600 books, and separate toilets for boys and girls. The school also has access to drinking water through hand pumps. However, it lacks basic infrastructure such as electricity, boundary walls, and computer-aided learning facilities.

Academic Details

For Class 10 students, DADHIBAMAN TOL HS follows the State Board syllabus. Notably, the school also offers classes for students beyond Class 10, but the board for these higher grades is classified as “Others.” This could indicate a diverse range of educational programs offered at the secondary level.

A Need for Improvements

While DADHIBAMAN TOL HS provides essential educational services to the community, it faces challenges related to infrastructure. The absence of electricity, a computer lab, and a proper boundary wall could hinder its ability to offer a comprehensive and modern learning environment. Investing in these areas would significantly enhance the learning experience for students and enable the school to better prepare them for the future.

Supporting a Vital Community Resource

DADHIBAMAN TOL HS serves as a crucial resource for the community in DADHIBAMAN TOL. Despite its limitations, the school provides valuable educational opportunities for children in the rural area. Enhancing the infrastructure and resources available to DADHIBAMAN TOL HS could significantly contribute to the educational development of the students and the community as a whole.
