CSI P SL (Main) AIDED GANGURU: A Rural Primary School in Andhra Pradesh

CSI P SL (Main) AIDED GANGURU is a primary school located in the rural area of PENAMALURU block in KRISHNA district of ANDHRA PRADESH. Established in 1940, this co-educational school is managed by the Pvt. Aided and caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5.

Limited Facilities for a Rural School

Despite its rural location, CSI P SL (Main) AIDED GANGURU faces several challenges in terms of infrastructure and resources. The school does not have a designated building, relying on alternative spaces for teaching. While there are no classrooms for instructional purposes, two rooms serve as non-teaching spaces, and one room is dedicated to the Head Master/Teacher.

The lack of electricity hinders the school’s ability to utilize modern teaching methods, and the absence of a library means students lack access to enriching resources. Furthermore, the school has no playground, limiting opportunities for physical activity and recreation. The school also lacks basic amenities such as drinking water, computers, and a computer-aided learning lab.

Meeting the Needs of Rural Learners

Despite its limitations, CSI P SL (Main) AIDED GANGURU plays a crucial role in providing primary education to the children of the rural community. The dedicated female teacher strives to provide quality education within the available resources.

Looking Towards the Future

The school’s lack of infrastructure and resources highlights the need for greater investment in rural education. Improving access to basic facilities like electricity, computers, and a library could significantly enhance the quality of education provided at CSI P SL (Main) AIDED GANGURU.

Investing in infrastructure, technology, and teacher training can empower rural schools like CSI P SL (Main) AIDED GANGURU to provide their students with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. This, in turn, can contribute to the overall development of the community and ensure that every child has access to quality education.
