The school building, while partially walled, houses three classrooms and is equipped with essential facilities such as separate toilets for boys and girls. The lack of electricity and computer-aided learning facilities does not deter the school from its mission of providing quality education.

Chakradharpur PS stands out as a unique institution, offering a residential learning experience for its students. It is classified as an Ashram (Govt.) school, a type of residential school focused on providing a holistic educational experience. Students residing at the school benefit from a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning.

Despite its rural setting, the school boasts a library stocked with 320 books, ensuring access to knowledge for its students. The school also emphasizes a practical approach to learning with drinking water available through hand pumps and ramps for disabled students.

The school’s curriculum is delivered in Odia, the primary language of the region, making it accessible to students from the local community. The school boasts a dedicated team of three male teachers committed to imparting knowledge and nurturing young minds.

Though the school is a primary school, it is noteworthy that the school provides meals for its students, prepared within the school premises. The school’s focus on providing both education and essential amenities highlights its commitment to the well-being of its students.

Chakradharpur PS is a prime example of how rural schools play a vital role in shaping the future of children in remote areas. While lacking certain modern amenities, the school’s strong emphasis on basic education and a nurturing environment ensures that every child has a chance to excel.
