Nestled in the rural heart of Ganjam district, Odisha, BASANAPUTI P.S. is a government-run primary school established in 1945. This co-educational institution serves students from Grades 1 to 5, offering instruction in Odia.

The school building, constructed with sturdy pucca walls, features three classrooms, providing a dedicated space for learning. While the school has a playground, it faces challenges with electricity, as the existing connection is not functional.

Despite these challenges, BASANAPUTI P.S. provides essential amenities for its students. It boasts a well-maintained library housing an impressive collection of 272 books, encouraging a love for reading among its young learners. The school also prioritizes hygiene with separate functional toilets for boys and girls.

The school’s commitment to providing a holistic learning experience is evident in its dedicated playground. However, it lacks a computer-aided learning lab and computers for teaching and learning.
