Adarsh Shiksha Prasar Samiti: A Rural Primary School in Etah, Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the rural heart of Etah district, Uttar Pradesh, Adarsh Shiksha Prasar Samiti is a primary school catering to students from classes 1 to 5. Established in 1996, this privately managed, co-educational institution stands as a beacon of learning in the Jaithara block.

The school building, constructed with private funds, boasts five classrooms, all in good condition. These classrooms provide the necessary space for students to learn and grow, while two additional rooms serve as spaces for non-teaching activities.

The school’s dedication to providing quality education is evident in the five male teachers who impart knowledge to the students. Despite lacking a pre-primary section, the school’s curriculum focuses on a strong foundation in Hindi, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education from the very beginning.

While the school does not have electricity or a boundary wall, it prioritizes its students’ well-being by providing hand pumps for clean drinking water and functional toilets for both boys and girls. The school’s commitment to accessibility is further highlighted by the presence of a playground, a space for students to engage in physical activities and enjoy outdoor learning.

However, Adarsh Shiksha Prasar Samiti faces certain challenges. The lack of a library restricts students’ access to supplementary reading materials, while the absence of computers and computer-aided learning facilities limits their exposure to technology.

Despite these limitations, the school’s dedication to providing a quality education is evident. The school’s efforts to create a conducive learning environment are reflected in the positive feedback from the local community. Adarsh Shiksha Prasar Samiti remains a vital resource for education in the Jaithara block, striving to provide a strong foundation for its students.

The school’s efforts to provide a strong foundation in Hindi and its focus on physical activity through the playground highlight its commitment to holistic education.
