A.I.E. PERUMBILAD: A Rural Primary School in Kerala

Nestled in the serene countryside of Kerala, A.I.E. PERUMBILAD is a government-run primary school catering to the educational needs of young minds in the region. Established in the year 2000, this co-educational institution offers a nurturing environment for students from Class 1 to Class 4, with a strong emphasis on Malayalam as the primary language of instruction.

While A.I.E. PERUMBILAD does not offer a pre-primary section or computer-aided learning facilities, it provides a solid foundation for early education through its well-equipped library, boasting a collection of 165 books. The school also prioritizes student well-being by providing a clean drinking water source from a well.

The school’s dedication to providing quality education is further emphasized by the presence of a dedicated female teacher who guides the students through their formative years. Although the school lacks electricity and a boundary wall, its commitment to creating a safe and enriching environment is evident in the presence of a playground, essential for physical activity and socialization.

Interestingly, A.I.E. PERUMBILAD distinguishes itself by preparing and providing meals to its students on school premises. This ensures that students have access to nutritious food while focusing on their studies. The school’s rural location offers a unique setting for students to connect with nature and develop a sense of community.

The school’s management falls under the category of “Pvt. Unaided”, highlighting the importance of community involvement in supporting the institution’s growth and development. While the school does not have any ramps for disabled students, the presence of a single boy’s toilet and a single girl’s toilet ensure basic hygiene facilities are available.

The absence of a head teacher’s name suggests that the school might be undergoing a transition phase. However, with a dedicated teacher and a supportive management, A.I.E. PERUMBILAD continues to play a vital role in providing quality education to the children of the community.

With its focus on basic education, a nurturing environment, and a commitment to student well-being, A.I.E. PERUMBILAD stands as a beacon of hope for young minds in the rural areas of Kerala. The school’s story is a testament to the power of education in shaping the future of a community.
