PRATAPPURA Government Primary School: Fostering Education in Rural India

Nestled in the heart of a rural community, PRATAPPURA Government Primary School, located in the village of 15563, serves as a beacon of education for young minds. Established in 1957, the school, categorized as a “Primary only (1-5)” institution, plays a crucial role in nurturing the future of its students.

The school boasts a dedicated team of three teachers – two males and one female – who provide instruction in Hindi, the primary language of instruction. With six classrooms and a library stocked with 150 books, the school provides a conducive environment for learning. The school’s commitment to accessibility is evident in its provision of ramps for disabled students, ensuring that every child has equal access to education.

Despite its rural location, the school has access to essential amenities like electricity and drinking water through hand pumps. It also offers a playground for students to engage in physical activity and enjoy their breaks.

The school’s focus on providing a comprehensive learning experience is reflected in its “Co-educational” environment, catering to both boys and girls. While the school does not currently offer pre-primary sections, it prioritizes the well-being of its students by providing meals prepared on school premises.

PRATAPPURA Government Primary School is managed by the Department of Education, demonstrating its commitment to providing quality education to students from underprivileged backgrounds. The school’s dedication to education is further highlighted by its “Yes” response to having a library and a playground.

The school, however, lacks a boundary wall, which could be a potential concern regarding security. While the school is located in a rural area, its geographic location makes it accessible to students from nearby villages.
